The Best Web Applications for Education in 2016-A blog written about the best 2.0 applications in 2016. Apps include virtual classrooms, sites for creating online worksheets, apps for taking polls and apps for turning photos on your phone into presentations by adding audio.
EdTechTeacher Tools-This website links to hundreds of tech tools organized by academic subject, topic and learning activity. It is very user friendly.
iCivics-This website offers games and tools to teach students civics. Each game is designed to be played during one class period. They also have resources (quiz, worksheet, presentation) accompanying each game. Most can be completed by students or as a class during or upon completion of the game.
Play to Learn-This website lists 100 great sites on gamification. Each site contains resources to support the use of gamification in the classroom as well as games to use with your students.
National Council for Social Studies-This resource isn't as user friendly as I'd like, but if you scroll down to "Engagement 3" and then "Sites," there is a list of websites complied by the National Council for Social Studies to use when integrating ELA and Social Studies.
Edumentum-This is a link to sites with standards-aligned student activities.
Tech Finder-This is a search tool for assistive technologies that allows you to specify the issue and the grade.
